Coming off Spiralactone

Hi everyone, just wondered if anyone had experienced coming off Spiralactone. My specialist wrote to me letting me know my recent 6 month scan and blood tests had come back showing good improvement in my liver and has told me to stop taking my 100mg of spiralactone which was a relief as my man chest has swelling and hard lump behind my nipple which I no is normal but definitely uncomfortable. Just wondered if a little weight gain is normal when coming off the tablets he said to get back in touch if they was rapid weight gain also how long it takes to leave your system and things like the man chest going away and also my erectile dysfunction going away there’s been some improvement (sorry if that’s to much info lol) but definitely need it to stand like a soldier and do what I’m asking lol. Really hoping one of you men out there may have had a similar experience out there and have some hope for me as my wife and I are missing the closeness. Thanks for reading this far. Take care all

if you’re coming off the spironactalone then you could be gaining water weight - the diuretics remove excess fluid. I found taking it for a few days I could reduce my weight by about 2-3kg easily but would rather be a bit swollen than put up with the side effects although as a female bit different to yours. Be careful if it’s your stomach bloating lots or you put on loads of weight - 1kg of weight is a litre of excess fluid. Contact your consultant if you feel your gain really significant.
