I have pain in my right side to the back of the ribs.not the front abdomen at all. When I touch the lower part of the ribs this hurts too. The pain hurts when I touch this area there isn’t much pain unless I touch it. Could my liver be inflamed? I do not have any other symptoms?

A basic set of liver blood tests would reveal liver inflammation if it's there - results for ALT, AST, GGT, ALP. See your doctor if you have concerns.

Hi, I have a similar sounding pain, it's was there most of the time. I spoke to my GP as had concerns it might be due to my NFALD. GP examined me and said unlikely to be liver but most likely to be inflammation inside of the ribs. Prescribed Volterol cream - useless, now taking Co-Codamol and it does seem to be working. Best to see your GP to be on the safe side. Good luck.
