I paid for a private fibroscan only way in Spain as not available on NHS. equivalent. Results F1 -F2 I may seem strange to say I'm relieved and happy..but specialist said compensated cirrhosis....so yes I'm happy.
Now I can work on improving my score thank god I have the opportunity to do so.
So in answer to my previous question was it worth paying to go privately in my case 100% yes.

Hello Spiff, I live in Spain and the NHS in my city has fibroscan. Although I have never used it and I go to a private hospital. F1-F2 and the diagnosis of cirrhosis is not common.
