This is mainly for the newbies.

There is a way of donating to your favourite UK Charity just by buying your Amazon orders on Amazon Smile rather than the basic Amazon main website.

Experience feel-good shopping ... Shop at smile.amazon.co.uk and they'll donate to your favourite charitable organisation, at no cost to you. ... Same products, same price: smile.amazon.com/gp/chpf/ho...

I received an update this morning from Amazon it reads:

This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your chosen charity, British Liver Trust, recently received a quarterly donation of £212.40 from AmazonSmile. To date, Amazon has donated a total of:

• £2,373.39 to British Liver Trust

• £16,991,028 to all UK charities

Thank you for supporting British Liver Trust at no extra cost to you by shopping at AmazonSmile.

Prime Day

During Prime Day 2022 AmazonSmile doubled donations from 0.5% to 1% on all eligible purchases. Thank you very much for your participation in the promotion! More than an estimated £220,000 was raised in total over the two days, which will be disbursed as part of the Q3 disbursements in November.

Thank you for your post. I was not aware of this and all Charities in the UK need help, particulary the British Liver Trust. Well worth posting this Richard. Take care.

I've used Amazon Smile since it first came out, to donate to the Huntington's Disease Association. I really wish it had the option to donate to more than one charity, great news that BLT is on there too!

It's good that you've discovered this, lost my old account, so I hadn't reposted this. Registered with Amazon Smile years ago, when it first came out and been contribting to British Liver Trust through them, It's also worth raising awareness, BLT used to sell T-Shirts not sure if they still do, but if more people wear them, it might promte the charity and contributions?

Not what you're looking for?
