CT scan results

had a CT scan on 24/06/22 haven’t heard anything so rang yesterday and told it takes 3 Months for X-ray dept to send results to doctor who requested the scan in the same hospital building. Unbelievable this was for my poor circulation in my legs as I can hardly walk now. I also had a MRI scan on my liver cancer at the QE Birmingham on 14/07/22 And have heard nothing yet, but I do have a telephone consultation appointment for 02/11/22. So not to bothered about that one as I will get an answer then. But the legs scan is very frustrating when you can’t walk in my opinion it’s worse than the cirrhosis and cancer I have. All the staff that you see in hospital are excellent but the management you never see have a lot to answer for. With all the modern technology how and why has this happened. I am the same age as the NHS which was promoted as care from the cradle to the grave, no mention of helping you into the grave.

Spotted you hadn't had a reply and I know that can be frustrating. If your GP made the referral for the scans then they will have the results. Even if they didn't make the referral they will still have access to the results on their links to the IT systems. I would probably contact my GP practice and ask them to look them up and feedback via a telephone appointment. Hope this helps.

Thanks I’ve had my results for my liver which is fine, still awaiting ct results for my legs. I don’t no how your doctors work but mine appear to have become incontactable and everybody in our village agrees. Once again thanks for trying to help and all the best to you.
