Long story short. Long time sufferer. Changed diet to organic, bili numbers went from 55 range down to 20 range. Simply changed to organic milk, eggs and meat antibiotic free and made world difference, diagnosed in 20s now coming up 40. Nothing else helped. It's all the crap used in livestock production that was elevating my bill levels. Hope helps.

Dear Toby1982
It is pleasing to hear that you are now having better results.
If you have liver disease, it is important to remember that eating a good, well-balanced diet is essential to maintaining strength and keeping to a healthy weight.
You might also need to change the food you eat depending on:
• the type of liver disease you have
• the stage of the damage to your liver - people living with cirrhosis have special dietary needs
• any eating difficulties you experience such as loss of appetite or feeling sick (nausea)”

Please Note: If you have already been given dietary advice you should not make changes without first talking to your consultant or dietitian.
