Hello, my 3 year old son has chronic liver disease. He had an oesophageal bleed last year and in his last scope (third since the bleed) no varices were seen.
I would love to take him to Europe (has been cleared to travel) but no insurance company will insure him. Does anyone please have any insurance suggestions. I have tried medical insurers too.
Thank you

I wonder if the Children's Liver Disease Foundation may have any advise for your on this one as this forum is largely adult related. CLDF members may have experience of where they got insurance.
Maybe it's different for children but my husband has just got cover for himself, me and our two children for £123 (annual policy for Europe) with Tesco insurance. He hasn't had a bleed for three years but has had banding recently, he declared this and it was fine (he called them to confirm it too). Hope you sort something, and sorry to hear that your son has it so young x
