How long to reduce liver enzymes

How long with abstinence would it take to reduce elevated liver enzymes, I've probably drank 4 pints of lager a day over December and January?

Depends how much damage, as quick as 4 weeks some say to over a year as in my case.

Depends on the person's recovering abilities and the extent of the damage I suppose. And which particular enzyme number you refer too

My bloods normalised at about 10/11 months. Decompensated with ascites.
