I have had all 3 total injections I’ve told to have,

I haven’t and I have to wait because I had the hep a and b vaccine. Not to mention I got the j&j vaccine and the booster just became available.

Hi Mac G... I had to have a 3rd vaccine after my liver transplant. I've got to have a booster in 4 months time. All these guidelines (which I will stick to) when people are still getting COVID after their vaccinations. I also had an email saying that I'm entitled to the treatment to kill off the disease if I become infected. Jees aloo. I've also had a procedure for a broom to be installed up my arse so I can sweep out the COVID wards while having my post transplant appointments in hospital.

I had my liver t/p exactly 4 years ago. I've had all 3 anti-covid jabs. There's no 2nd boosters being rolled out yet. There may be a top up later for severely compromised people on immunosuppressants but they may not include everyone with liver problems affiliated to this forum. If you've had a transplant then you've undoubtedly had 3 vaccinations. I recently had a message from NHS telling me I will be sent a home PCR test in case I get Covid symptoms and depending on how severe my symptoms are (in the event that I did catch it), I could be eligible for some antiviral or other drugs. It is very interesting as the letter mentions a monoclonal antibody- which is not new (as a concept) but some versions not that successful (I was informed by a close relative who is a highly credited and well known epidemiologist)

There are new treatments that are being trialled / you may have read about Molnupiravir- but early excitement more recently tempered. Hope that helps.

Hi Geordie on Friday I received my NHS Scotland invite for my 2nd on 13th January. Didn't realise we would be getting a 2nd booster so soon but happy to roll up my sleeve

It's not a second booster, there were two follow up doses - a 3rd Primary Dose for those who were immune suppressed or simlar PLUS a booster which the whole population was to get.

It is a second booster as I did not have a third primary as per JVCI guidelines of. I will NOT be administered a full dosee but half a dose as I was o when I received my first booster. So therefore it is considered a second booster.
