Every time I eat, I am in so much pain. Oromorph doesn't help. My bloods yesterday were all normal except my ALT which was 72, but considering its been 1300 two months ago, this isn't a worry. Doctors don't seem to care that I have practically stopped eating, diarrhea and pain every time I eat. Still no date on the biopsy. I'm so fed up.

Hi Horsemum. I had the same thing with the pain but at the same time my condition was attacking my nervous system, the nerves in my feet got damaged. After my ALT came down from 1800 they started to do the scans. The diagnosis was alcoholic hepatitis of the liver. (I was hospitalised at the time because I couldn't walk from the pain and weekness in my feet)

So my advice would be to keep pushing the doctors (did you say you have a consultant now) and lay it on thick about your concerns and you ability to live day to day life due to toilet requisites. You need a diagnosis so you can start treatment.

This is only what happened to me but yours could be something else (you just need to know) keep pushing.
