Can anyone tell me about this I was told nothing sinister but very little details about anything else maybe that's a good thing
Finally got the results of my ct scan ... - British Liver Trust
Finally got the results of my ct scan but not much detail was told bloods are all good over phone
Hi Tommy,
It's hard to be sure and of course The Trust understandably discourage the posting and interpretation of test results.
I can only safely say what blood vessels are sometimes declared as being when observed on some peoples liver scans.
So, a small cluster or bundle of tangled blood vessels is called a liver hemangioma. They rarely cause any future complications. However, a hemangioma may grow in size and occasionally causes discomfort and other symptoms... and are therefore monitored on further scans. Observing future changes (if there are any) also contributes to the diagnosis.
Being told by your Dr nothing sinister is the thing to trust.
Great news too about your good blood work.
Best
Chris
Thanks its 1 centimetre in size so there seeing if it grows probably on next scan but I see people putting results on here and all these numbers and stuff and that's all I get lol thanks for your input really appreciated 👍
Ask for a copy of the actual scan report. That will be more detailed than the above letter.
Do you have access to your hospitals online portal. If not may be worth asking them to set you up an account on there so you can have access to all your test results and scans etc.
I’m impressed you got you results so quickly. I’ve been waiting since the beginning of September for mine.
I dont know what way it works to be honest but it's very frustrating I haven't been told much in near to years I've had to push to get what I've got
