Hi guys, been a while since I've been on here but having some slight concerns about gallstones. My liver seems to have been doing well for the past few years; I'm eating healthy, no booze in 4+ years and exercising daily so feeling fit and healthy which hopefully means my cirrhosis is still at a compensated stage but in the last couple of days I've noticed a fairly gentle but persistent dull pain in my liver/gallbladder area. I know in one of my past ultrasounds that they mentioned a gallstone but weren't concerned by it and I never had any symptoms of stones before but now I'm suspicious it may have grown or moved perhaps? I'm feeling slightly paranoid that if that is the case then it might be an indication that my cirrhosis is getting worse and was just hoping someone might have some experience with this?
I feel so stupid because I missed my scheduled liver scan this morning and will have to re-book but I may not be able to get another appointment for a while
NB. No other noticeable symptoms that might indicate cirrhosis is getting worse

What I can say is that if you have gallstone problems you will seriously know about it it’s so painful, but try to see your doctor and tell him/her your concerns if they are just niggly pain’s don’t expect your doctors to get to excited. Good luck and I hope you never get gallstone problems 🤞.Stay Safe All
What a great pity you missed your scan today because that may well have highlighted whatever was causing your current niggle and it's important to get this checked out. My hubby has had one gall stone mentioned in previous scans before but this year he had to go for an MRI follow up to his 6 monthly ultrasound and stones were found that had become lodged in his bile duct. He too has compensated cirrhosis at present so there was a worry that if these stones actually blocked the bile duct it could cause major infection that would have destabilized his liver. He really had no symptoms from these stones but within weeks of them being found in the bile duct he was admitted to hospital for an ERCP procedure to remove them.
I think you need to flag this with your doctor a.s.a.p. and see if there is any way of that scan being rescheduled.
Thank you for your replies, no luck getting an appt today but I will reschedule asap in the morning. I'm hoping, due to the lack of pain today, that I was premature with my concerns but will definitely make sure I get it checked for peace of mind
