I know it may seem trivial to some but I believe it’s a mix of all the medication I’m on , I get a lot of wind and gas , I don’t want to be crude here but it doesn’t smell it’s just very noisy and constant it stops me doing a lot of things including socializing. Any body else suffer with this dilemma do if so how do you combat it ?

Are you on lactulose per chance? My hubby gets lots of wind but not smelly, his was worse when he was on Ensure supplements too (we ended up calling if farty juice).
Sadly haven't got any remedies or coping strategies to suggest.
Hubby more struggles with the fact he has sudden and urgent need to go which has sadly resulted in accidents when a toilet hasn't been readily available.
Cirrhosis - the gift that keeps on giving. Hopefully your t/p won't be too far away.

Hi,
It may be worth mentioning this to your liver team/ GP and seeing if there is any treatment they can safely recommend?
Yeah I have done previously ,and I was told it’s either cope with it or don’t take the meds and cope with that ! Had the same response to water tablets giving me painful breasts too
Yes I’ve got this too and it really does limit your lifestyle. I also have urgent unpredictable need to go to loo and have been caught short on several occasions also. Have asked whether I should change the dose but no advice yet.
Sorry I don’t know the answer.
I have the same problem. I don’t think it’s trivial at all. Im already house bound because of the exhaustion and that’s just another thing to keep me from socializing. It’s damned embarrassing. 😢
