First time posting, fairly certain I know the answer, but want to pool the wealth of knowledge you all have.
I was diagnosed with NAFLD a few years ago and like an idiot I mostly ignored it based on the response from my Docs stating it’s simple fatty liver just diet and exercise and you’ll be fine. Of course I didn’t take their advise, so I’m taking responsibility but it didn’t seem like a big deal.
Had blood work recently and ALT was 101 and AST was 63. So I took it upon myself scheduled a Fibroscan and numbers weren’t good. CAP was 395 and Fibrosis was 8.4, so S3 and F2 respectively. I guess my question is can this be reversed or am I basically on the road to Death via miserable Liver Cirrhosis.
Thanks and I’m sure your tired of giving the same advice over and out over but would really appreciate some guidance and honest feedback.

It is in no way inevitable that you will progress to cirrhosis but you do need to do something NOW to tackle the fatty build up in your liver or your fibrosis score may increase leading to more permanent damage.
The BLT has excellent guides on NAFLD and a recent study which has shown the benefits of a Mediterranean style diet to help with reversal/slowing progress of NAFLD.
