Periodontitis

Hi, has anyone had periodontitis related to liver problems, and if so how was it treated? My gums are receding & I'm seriously afraid I'm going to lose my teeth. I'm going to book an emergency dentist appointment in the morning.

Hey nerd. Did you end up having the fibroscan. I’m getting one soon and am anxious. Your previous posts resonated with me so thought I’d check how you went.

Hi Kettl, no I haven't had a fibroscan yet, I'm trying to get my teeth sorted first. I'm sure you're in a much better position than me - I know from my symptoms that I'm seriously ill.

Yes. I went an saw a perdontist and had a deep clean. My gums are fine now,got better as my liver did.

Hi Dean, thanks for replying. Did you have antibiotics for your teeth as well? Can I ask how you became compensated - was it just abstinence or did you have meds as well?

I had antibiotics for an abscess. Yeah I stopped drinking. I’m not sure what else they can do?
