Suffering with dizzy spells..?!😶

Hi everyone. I wanted to post this statement as I am suffering dizziness quite often and it is affecting my daily living.

I am now back to a compensated stage of cirrhosis, which is great but I still can't work out what is going on with me now? I spoke to my consultant regarding these dizzy spells and man breasts!😶..He advised me to stop taking diuretics completely. I have managed to retain the same weight and have no water retention after having awful ascites a few months ago. Which is great but it hasn't resolved the dizziness?

My diet is ok and I am hydrated. I just find it really unsettling when it kicks in. Especially if I am out or in mid conversation with someone. Or just spending quality time with my son. I can accept other symptoms I have as wear and tear with my body and mind still recovering. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated...as always!🙏

As with any persistent or worsening symptom, I would encourage you to try and see your GP?

There are many potential causes of dizziness and it should be investigated.

Good morning Hey, sometimes I suffer from dizzy spells and was advised i had labyrinthitis as was also have problems with my ears. I would defo speak to GP for advice, hope you feel better soon, take care - Dandy 🙏

Hi there, I too suffered with light headedness and dizzyness and put it down to the beta blockers that I was prescribed for my acieties. With further investigation and blood tests we found that it was actually really bad anaemia due to a acieties bleed I had. I then had a transfusion and felt so much better a few day's later so PLEASE see your G.P and ask them to check your bloods,I'm sure it's probably something simple like that and nothing to get freaked out about,just best to get checked out!
