Binge drinking

chronic pain, lockdown , change of jobs, anxiety through the roof, mental health not in a good place, my drinking 2-3 days a week can be very excessive and I just binge until I feel numb. Can someone dm me who’s going through a similar situation. I need to get out of this vicious circle otherwise I will lose everything.

The replies that were provided on yesterday's thread that someone posted about managing their drinking might be helpful to you. A lot of about addressing your relationship with alcohol, looking at the reason why you drink etc. Find the thread at:- healthunlocked.com/britishl...

All the best, Katie

Thank u . I will take a look now

Hi Mamma-mia85, I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling right now. If you are worried about your mental health over the weekend, please contact NHS 24 on 111. Our nurse led helpline is open Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm on 0800 652 7330 if it would help to talk to one of us. Could I suggest making an appointment with your GP to discuss your concerns about your alcohol intake and your mental health? I'll attach a couple of links which you might find helpful.
