In this week of Dying Matters please ensure that if you have alcoholic liver disease you put your houses in order and ensure that those that are standing beside you every step of the way are provided for. There is no miracle cure or answer at the bottom of that bottle.

Dying matters
Thank you for reminding us of this Dizzie, even in your grief. So many times people with alcoholic disorders fail to think financially of those left behind. It’s important that the spouse caregiver get this done so they can have peace of mind. and just focus on the good days with the spouse. Again, my deepest condolences to you dear.
Good advice, Dizzy. Can I just add my experience after dealing with my son's sudden death two years ago? He was an alcoholic but died sober from an accidental overdose of drugs while trying to find a cure for his panic attacks, insomnia and depression. The police treated his death as suspicious at first and took away his laptop and phone and we had an awful job trying to sort out his affairs and also trying to let his many friends around the world know. Facebook came to our rescue on that one. The banks were pretty good but trying to shut down his Paypal and Ebay accounts (he ran a small business from home) was an absolute nightmare. We had no idea of his passwords or anything. I know you are not supposed to write your passwords down but someone reliable needs to know at least where to find them.
