Last month a I did general blood test. The following were high; Bilirubin, ALP, Creatinine and vitamin D was low. At the time my doctor was more concerned with the Creatinine and Vitamin D... My Bilirubin at the time was 36.1 She said that she wouldn't be concerned unless it was above 50 and mentioned the possibility of Gilbert's syndrome.
Since the first test I've eaten healthier (low fat diet more fruit & veg) exercised more. I repeated the test yesterday and my creatinine and vitamin D levels are now normal but the Bilirubin has increased to 69.9 also the MPV 13. 2 was flagged as high along with my GGT 9 being indicated as low.
Could my recent diet have have increased the Bilirubin? Has anyone had similar experience, what did you to lower the bilirubin, can it be lowered?
