Hey everyone it’s a good day for me today so far. Yesterday I managed to get a decent haircut without being scalped!!
went to a proper salon instead of a barbers as have quite bad hair with this illness and being using nutrients to get it thicker and longer, any way really good cut 1st time at a salon even got a bottle of water, starting to look a lot better considering stage 4 cirrhosis, portal hypertension and HE.
Then my consultant rang me out of the blue this morning I have been waiting on scan and bloods coming back for 2 weeks now,
1st results last year MELD score 12 every blood was abnormal and kidneys were struggling a bit. Bilirubin was a bit high.
Consultants results today!!! Happy
2nd results This morning MELD score 9 all bloods are rapidly improving, kidney function normal. Bilirubin normal.
My consultant asked me if I would take part in like a education thing for young people with him not sure about that, like sort of an example, education thing not sure about that!?!? And didn’t give me much details, I’m not doing a james’ story thing!!!
All Ive done is stop drinking and eat as much as I can, nothing really special or strict. My consultant also said the way your going you will be out of the woods, (what does that mean???) I was a bit shocked I forgot to ask him what he ment ( out of the woods) but just to let everyone know, Improvement is possible I’m awaiting to see if my stage 4 has decreased. I was an emotional wreck this time last week, it just shows the ups and downs of this Illness. God bless
Diag with NAFLD Cirrhosis from biopsy, doctor said theres no difference between a 15kpa and 30kpa fibroscan score, confused?
