Early Nodularity

Hi I was wondering if anyone has had a result of NASH cirrhosis with early nodularity. I was just getting my head round the diagnosis when I decided to check what early nodularity meant and now I’m scared it means something really bad . I’m doing my very best diet and exercise but keep getting down when thinking now I might not be able to reverse things. I’m 73 and thought I was fit . Pat

I had mild nodular changes on my last ultrasound and they said it was borderline cirrhosis. I am 33, so a bit of a shock. I honestly am not sure on the answer regarding reversal. Is it also a fatty liver you have? Do you drink much?

Hi Thank you for answering quick. Yes I have fatty liver cirrhosis and no never drink don’t like it I must have been a sugar addict. I have had liver biopsy that shows the diagnosis but not any physical symptoms. As I’m an older woman 73 it worries me a lot if I can reverse some of it . Thanks Jaygee87

My consultant told me once its cirrhosis there's no reversal. I have heard that early cirrhosis may be reversed but I dont know how successful that is. Are you overweight?

Well done. Don't get disheartened, you may not be able to reverse it but certainly keep it under control, like your diabetes, by continuing to eat healthily and losing weight. Think positive, you're doing great! All the best

There is no reason why not. Look after yourself well, try not to worry just focus on your achievements so far and give yourself little goals and challenges to focus on. Wow .. you're doing your 10000 steps a day and swimming.... you're a star xx

Yes stop googling !! It will drive you sick with worry unnecessarily. Trust in yourself that what you are doing is truely helping improve your health and your life. Keep a smile on your face and get a good night's sleep. Have a good weekend xxx
