Well my itching got the better of me this morning and I decided to get up at 4.00 am. I crept downstairs (not concerned with waking mrs Gravy) but to avoid disturbing the cats who would annoy me until I fed them. Success, I was washed, dressed and out the door, enjoying my crisp fresh air and feeling the circulation going.
But, have you ever had the feeling you are being watched? I turned around and nothing but darkness as my companion, a few minutes later, once again, the feeling someone was near, tiptoed through my mind, I heard something!
Slowly turning around AHHH I was face to face with Lucifer........... my cat so the only chilling part of this story is how pleasantly cool it is out today. I had to turn around and jog home so he would follow me back. I have fed them and now for some bran flakes and half a banana sliced on top.
Don't forget to exercise today gang

Get back to bed ye olde barstewarde..... hahahaha 😂😂🤣. Seriously are you feeling alright? Meds doing good? You haven't mentioned them in a while... but I can tell by the jokes that you are coming around....😃
Telephone consultation at 5pm today with my wonderful Liver nurse, so I hope to know more then. I am definitely feeling better and my sleep is a little erratic but I think it is better to sleep when my body wants to sleep... I must cat nap because I wake in the cat bed
Hope yours goes better than mine yesterday Davy! I asked a load of questions and got scant answers back. Any chance of weight loss surgery? No. Could I have a dietician? No funding available. Can I have a copy of my results? No, they'll be on my DRdoctor online - told he they aren't but she said look again (they still aren't there) Do I need more tests? No. Who do I contact if I have more question so problems? There isn't anyone, email my secretary if you really need to. Could I have ascites? Probably not - she'll see me in clinic to give me a prod - got the appointment through this morning - JULY!!!!! That helps.
I'm sorry that yours didn't go well. I have to say, my liver nurses always make sure I am okay, ask if I need anything, do I have any side effects, and do I need to see them. They have an answerphone and if I leave a message I get a call a little while later. But I do not like to bother them (yes I know it's not a bother) but when I attended the Gastro unit last, they were incredibly busy and yet everyone had big smiles on their faces.
As I am only at F3 Fibrosis, I feel that is all I need to know, but my GP has instructed the surgery that I can have a print out of all my test results if I like, but I think numbers would do nothing except give my anxiety another stick to beat me, but I'm winning that battle so nothing for him .
You have a good point, maybe I don't need to know. I was only told I have fibrosis, so I have no idea where I was on the scale that is, but I am following all the info I have found on here and the weight is actually coming off so I must be headed in the right direction!Thank you Davy
I went for my glasses today and the sausage man was right outside, all the lovely smells of sausage and onions and of course they had the door open to let out all the viruses - I just had to remind myself they smell way better than they taste!I have this addiction to grapes at the moment, I am not sure how good they are at the amount I'm getting through but, hey, better than biscuits surely (or cake, or donuts or.....)
hey Davy, I got a letter yesterday which included some results and I am F3 and she said it was significant fibrosis - bit worse than the first letter which only said some fibrosis, which I took to mean not much at all 😐so I drowned my sorrows with a takeaway chinese, ooh it was lovely 😋
Oh I know what to do, but sometimes it's fun to break the rules! 😂🤦I had crispy duck pancakes and sweet and sour chicken balls & egg fried rice. YUM (kept some chicken balls by for the following day, they're just as good cold
Jeez aloo are you sure it wasn't in a grumpy traffic warden you were speaking with? You should of said are you a nurse just to see if she could say yes...😤
Hmmm, now you mention it, I could've been talking to anyone, we've never spoken before so It could've been the cleaner, obviously why she didn't give me many answers then eh? lol
They get Felix because Lucifer looks just like the felix cat on the advert (His real name is Zorro), but he's a little devil and climbs into neighbours bedroom windows if they are open
They also know, they'll get some of my chicken and rice if they keep tapping my foot at dinner time They have trained me well.
Lucky cats...bet they are particularly partial to a bit of Sunday lunch! Mine is called Oscar, he’s a cross Bengal, and enjoys nothing better than getting into the shower in the morning. 😸
No it’s a type of cat. They are descended from the Asian leopard cat, but whilst he thinks he’s a tiger he is just a cat!
That's brilliant Davy Gravy, hope you took your camera with you, your quite the photographer on the quiet. My Boo Boo ( cat) was spoilt rotten he would only eat fresh chicken!😁😁😁😉😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I guess the news is that there is no news. Small glitch that will be remedied with another blood test. So I guess I will know in 2 weeks or less. But I do feel very well and that is all that matters to me
How the devil are you, Sweet like chocolate I hope daveywavey. Also hope you are on about what I think you are on about, it's just your post is a little out of the blue. Gis a clue or a text...
Hi thoroughly enjoyed reading this story this morning great to meet someone with a brilliant sense of humour. I itch most of the time different degrees of course perhaps I should walk more in the early morning according to your first feed thank you
Hi Gillrich and thank you. The one thing that I have learned here from the support and posts is, morale does wonders. I do enjoy a good laugh and anything that brightens my day has a big impact on my wellbeing.
Hope all goes extremely well with your telephone consultation DavyGravy. With regard to your itching, perhaps they could prescribe a cream for the "itchy areas". My Doctor did a few years ago and it cleared. May not be relating to your "problem" but I am not a medical person. Do take care. Big hug and positivity to you. x
So pleased to hear you are feeling much better. I'm sure you have a very caring team and your future will be bright - pity the weather wasn't bright this morning! Thought I'd got "brain fog" until I went outside Keeping smiling hey and stay confident about your health and future. The sun will always shine in our hearts for the good times of our lives. Take care. Happy thoughts. 😊🌈
Same sort of thing I had to come up to kings college hospital for a procedure to day tried to leave breakfast for my dog but before I could get out she had eaten it so she will be all out of sync today 🐶🤣. Have a good day all .Stay Safe All
