Back in December I was diagnosed with six FNH on the liver. I have a follow up MRI within the next two weeks, I’m getting a lot of right side back pain sometimes on the front too doctors don’t really seem interested I’m only 26 I’m so worried they’ve misdiagnosed me. Would liver function test and blood count be normal if it was cancer? Few weeks back one of the bloods was just above normal range doctor said it wasn’t a concern also d dimmer was just above normal range but I had no blood clots. Really starting to get scared incase they tell me bad news. Doctors say FNH shouldn’t cause pain this is what my worry is and the largest was only 4cm

Hello Bethwhite727,
I have included a link to our website information ,
Thank you so much.I have spoken with numerous doctors and literally getting nowhere they don’t believe the pain is from liver. But I’ve also read FNH doesn’t cause pain this is what concerns me is if they’ve got it wrong. I’m hoping not much as changed within the last 4 months. Would anything flag up on my bloods?
I suffer with really bad health anxiety it doesn’t help that a elderly man I know who is under the same hospital as me was told benign for a year and it turned out to be actually cancer and he hasn’t got long left not sure if this as triggered everything all the more that maybe they got mine wrong. But like my doctors said I’m 26 he’s 76 there’s lots of different factor I really hate having to suffer with this anxiety it’s all I’m thinking about 24/7 xx
I do feel for you, I’d be the same! Remember that report I sent you where many patients presented with pain that had FNH? All were found to be benign? Just keep that in mind, it certainly can present with pain. X
