We arn't meant to comment on liver blood tests but just to try and reassure you a bit those arn't horrendous results. Ok your liver inflammation markers are a little elevated indicating a bit of liver irritation BUT they arn't that bad. ALT can rise into the 1000's. You need to address the things that are causing your liver the problem i.e. the fatty liver as previously described and then both these numbers and your fibroscan reading can decrease.

Hepatitis just means liver inflammation (Hepa - liver / itis - inflammation).

Make the lifestyle changes as you've been instructed and you can get control of this.

Hi runlif, I've removed your results as no one is medically trained on the forum, therefore cannot comment on your individual results. Have you received a diagnosis of liver disease?

A diagnosis of liver disease is based on not just one blood test or one set of results but rather a range of tests and/or scans which are interpreted by a GP or liver specialist. I appreciate that you are concerned and anxious right now - would you feel able discussing these worries with your GP? If you would like to chat, our nurse led helpline is open Monday to Friday 10-3 on 0800652 7330.

Best wishes
