Hi everyone. I had a letter this morning to book my Covid Jab. I'm a bit worried as I am waiting on a ct scan and gastroscopy and apart from Multiple liver cysts and enlarged liver (found on ultra sound) they are looking for possible Pancreatitis and blocked bile duct. Not knowing what exactly my Liver issues are I dont know if it would be safe. Any advice most welcome. Thank you xx

The Jab
Hi nesh60I think you should speak to your doctor with your concerns . I do think that most people are being advised to have it with very few exceptions.
Will do Angel46 Thank you xx
I had the Oxford jab I felt I had side effect like dizziness maybe just me i was supposed to have a clinic phone consultation on the 4th but the clinic social worker got in contact with coordinator they phoned me and say they want to go into clinic
I had the oxford az jab nearly a month ago-no side effects-(I'm male 65) as Angel says-speak with the doctor if you have concerns
I had my covid jab during my gallstone/liver pain still not detected completely. I had fever for 2 days after vaccination but then I got fine. Just tell them about ur condition n they ll decide about it. Normally they ll ask you anyway if u have any medical history. Don’t worry u ll be fine. It’s safe
Hi nesh60 - obviously we can’t give medical advice on here and if you have concerns raise them either with your GP or even better your hepatology clinic.
I am post TP so on a cocktail of drugs and other co-morbidness - I had a similar conversation with my consultant I he advised me without hesitation to have the jab. I had it a couple of weeks ago and the only thing I noticed was a slight temperate for a couple of days - other than that I had no other issues with the jab and I’m pleased to have had the first one.
Talk to your professionals to reassure you that it will be fine - IMHO have the jab!
Peter
We can’t really give you medical advice on this forum as only your physicians will know your particular situation. Check with your GP or Consultant for advice.
Will do Speggy Thank you xx
I’ve got cirrhosis, gallstones, portal hypertension and an 8st German Shepard that likes his belly being rubbed at 5am. I had the Pfizer and was rocking all rolling at 5am the following morning on a walk with the boy(🐶🐾). Positive attitude goes a long way!! 😊👍
