Worried of A deteriorating liver

I had my bloods, ultra sound and fibro scan done 4 months ago and my next appointment is in April. Although the specialist said my hep b viral load has increase, he does not want to start treatment as no harm is done to the liver. I feel there is a massive change in my level of functioning. I feel easily tired, feel a mass around my right upper quadrant and abdominal disturbances accompanied with itchiness of skin around liver area and referred pain to the right back. I have this great feeling that something bad is about to happen to me but the specialist keeps avoiding my concerns as he thinks i should be fine. I don't know how to go about this. I am only 28years and really don't want to deal with complications now.

Hello and welcome to the forum. It is really important for you to be able to clarify the rationale behind the doctors decision not to start treating you. I presume you are under the care of a hepatologist? Do you have access to a specialist hepatitis nurse - you could discuss your concerns with her/him. Failing this it might be worth talking to your GP about the changes you are experiencing in your health a) in case there is something other than the hepatitis causing the alteration and b) to get your next appointment expedited if the GP is also concerned.
