I posted before Xmas that I gad some pain on my right side that wasn’t chronic, but came and went; and was slightly uncomfortable. Bloods showed my billirubin was at 30, then after a retest it went to 23. An ultrasound on my gall bladder, kidneys, liver, spleen, aorta etc came back fine.
The pain went away.
I’m 46 in a few days and a fit guy (albeit with PAF AF) who walks, bikes, runs etc every week; and I’m a lean weight.,
However, the last week or so, its returned on and off and I’m perplexed! Is it my food? Small intestine? Some bowel irritation?
I eat a LOT of fibre and good carbs..but not sure what the best option is now.
Thanks

There's no one here who can make a diagnosis from your symptoms, only your doctor is qualified to do so. If you get a diagnosis related to the liver, there will be plenty of knowledgeable people here to support, advise and help you. Best wishes
As Laura has said you won't get a diagnosis here: but if you're active and eating well you are entitled to get occasions when you have pain and internal discomfort. Continuing your activities that don't directly cause you problems or make them worse is the best thing that you can do to maintain good health. Speak to the doctor about your concerns.
Just a though as I had similar symptoms and it was my appendix, I visited my doctor many times who treated me for kidney infection... I went to Spain the same year my appendix bursts on a run, I was rushed to hospital, I was a mess inside the doctor said, had fantastic treatment there , had to stay for an extra week.... So my advice is don't ignore pain its for a reason... good luck...
