Transplant during Pandemic

My husband has been offered a place on the Transplant list by St James, Leeds. They are phoning us tomorrow to answer any questions we might have. Obviously I know we could be waiting long time and hopefully this pandemic will end soon, but I'm interested how the current restrictions have affected loved ones on The Big day. What kind of questions should I be asking around this?

Im also worried about shielding once he is registered. I have 3 children, and don't cope very well with homeschooling them. What are others doing in this situation?
