Confused about Pancreas Elastase level of 83? (Male 63 non smoker not overweight)

After H Pylori in Nov 20 And pain for 2 yrs years in RUQ Area (Suspect Liver/gallstones) I can now report a recent clear ultrasound & clear abdominal CT Scan with contrast (Dec 20) abdo pain still continues however (no booze for 3 months)

But heres the question folks following a stool test in Dec 20, I'm told my pancreas elastase level is low at 83, what does that mean as apart from abdo pain (which is fairly low key but debilitatingly wearing) I feel fairly normal (I'm being referred to a Gastroenterologist)

What does the level of 83 mean anyone please & need I worry? (Pancreas looks ok on CT in Dec last year)

I believe 83 is within normal range. When my husband had pancreatis on 2 occasions, his levels were 3 times above normal levels. Stay off the booze... well done !

Thanks Laura, my zoom private consultant didn’t seem worried at the figure of 83 either but the NHS hospital doctor said it was low. Thanks for coming back to me.
