This forum seems to have a one woman help desk.

Care to elaborate?
Can you give us some more information?
People come to this forum because they are in need of advice or support. Some people do post more than others and when you are scared, confused, sad and feeling alone in what you're dealing with they are like a light in the darkness and I welcome every post. It's so kind that they are willing to give their time and energy to share their knowledge and experiences and I hope these frequent posters know how appreciated they are.
From what I've seen and recieved it has many women and men at the help desk and long may that continue. Perhaps you have a problem you care to share on this forum you seem unhappy with? Im all ears 👂?
Hi 200987Sometimes it only takes one very informative person to give advice, no point in other people reiterating similar points, especially when that person has a vast knowledge on the subject.
🙄
Like a lot here, I am not a Dr, I do work in the area of mental health and also a lifetime of experience in some areas of Liver management and research given family and personal experience. I have learned so much over the years because i have had to basically. What I am saying is that this site and others like it are an amazing source of support and personal experience. For some of us, we don't get to ask the questions we need answers to when we are sitting face to face with a so called expert, so this is a great sounding board. But a great resource if we are worried or anxious, stress can also effect the body in so many ways. Just saying I am about helping people as best I can, and if i can share that without obviously making a diagnosis then i will. I have numerous tests, bloods,MRI's, Ct's, ultrasounds, Endoscopes, Colonoscopys, Fibrascans over the years I know all about the anxiety stages of testing etc.
Hi 200987, I am relatively new to this forum and there are many who contribute (both male/female) who have great knowledge and advice to share and what is great is that they all have different experiences whether it is through living with liver disease, post transplant, living with someone who has liver disease or sadly with someone who has died from liver disease. I personally think they are all FAB and read their updates and comments with great interest.
