I am 25 male and I binged are food with high fat and calorie content for the past month. Increasing my weight by three kgs. I use to be hungry after three hours of a meal and suddenly one day I couldn't feel the burning sensation of hunger any more. Also a mild pain in my liver. I also started to have diarrhea. My question is does loss of hunger suddenly means a serious liver condition. Guy please help.
First signs of loss of appetite after ... - British Liver Trust
First signs of loss of appetite after one month of toxic eating with a past history of alcohol abuse that has stopped for a year now.
Hi Valer. No. Sudden lack of hunger is more likely your body saying l'm fed up of having this rubbish food thrown at me! Great you've stopped drinking now you need to start eating healthily, drinking plenty of water and getting regular exercise. Laura
It's more likely to be a small stomach upset or a reaction to the things you've been eating. For me the lack of appetite due to my liver meant that I didn't even notice it for a long time because I just didn't think about food. I ate a bit of dinner in the evening along with the family but didn't notice I didn't eat any other time and I was too busy sleeping anyway. It wasn't until my trousers kept falling down if I got the energy to stand that I realised I'd lost stones in weight.
Now that burning hunger has gone it will be easier for you to eat a bit better and see how you feel. If this doesn't subside you can always give your doctor a ring.
