CDT Testing

Hi Guys I've got myself into a flap DVLA are sending me for CDT Test I've been drink free for over 3 years I have compensated live cirrohsis but I'm worried the cirrohsis would affect the CDT reading has anyone had one,?

Unfortunately we have limited information regarding the CDT test that the DVLA order. My colleague and I have been trying to find additional reliable information for you this morning but we have not been successful.

We would suggest to consider contacting the DVLA directly

gov.uk/contact-the-dvla

for CDT test information and also to contact your own liver specialist who may well be able to provide some clear guidance around this.

Hello Hanley, l see its been three weeks since you that request to have a CDT test by the DVLA. May l please ask how it all went? Have you had any reply or news of how tge test went?

Hi there, it's not whilst 17th I did speak with the liver consultant on Tuesday as I was worried about the liver cirrhosis giving a false reading but he said it won't.

Hi There, Today I went for my CDT Test all very formal, alcohol questionnaire that the doctor fills out, tummy examination, blood pressure, listened to my heart and lungs and then a blood test, the doctor was so lovely she was telling me how her dad died from alcoholism very easy to talk to left feeling positive I will be back with DVLA outcome ......
