How do you cope? Any experience of diagnosis by ultrasound and subsequently dissolving them naturally? Trawling through all the conflicting websites and books/ papers.

Gallstones are a real nasty if you ask me. Had gallbladder removed 2015. It was full of stones.

Gallstones can be seen on an ultrasound. Dissolving naturally, apparently ursodeoxycholic acid can be used to dissolve them. However, once you stop taking this, the gallstones can reform. What type of treatment you are offered will very much depend on what other liver related issues you have and how often and severe the attacks are.

Also watch the cholesterol as balancing it with a high protein diet is important
