Should I be concerned?

Hi 👋 lovely folks hope everyone is well and safe as they possibly can be 👍🏼 I was blessed to have had a liver transplant three months ago, when I lie down the area over my liver has become quite firm and slightly uncomfortable at times especially when I move. Has any one else experienced this? x Thank you in advance 🥰

It took my scar site, 3 months to heal. I was incredibly nervous about sleeping on my right side and avoided that. I would always take a glass of water and some paracetamol and put them next to my bed. We all heal at different times, please take it easy. You will definitely get there eventually.

Hi Catlady

It sounds like you are doing really well. I am just over 10 months post transplant and I notice my liver more! I always think about how it feels every morning and sort of check in during the day but all y bloods are fine! I think is just my body healing and getting used to my new liver🙏

But if you fe really concerned do contact your Consultant 🙏
