Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I visited this forum because everything is going really well.

Since my alcohol relapse (last may) I'm still having a sour taste in my mouth, I don't have pain in my chest like most people with acid reflux and I take ppi daily and at times it does not seem to work and it's impacting my life in a bad way.

Does anyone has the same problem and will it get better?

Some days I just wonder if it is acid reflux, could it be to much bile production?

What more tests can I do, I had endoscopy, CT scan, breath test for pancreas function, next week I have a colonoscopy, elastography.....

After numerous tests which all came back normal it is really getting me down...

Any help help would be nice😊

Good afternoon Willbn,

Change af taste in your mouth can be caused by many things - not necessarily liver related.

As you have had many tests may I suggest you disuss this with your dentist?

Best wishes,
