I’m guessing some of you on this forum can relate to the heading of this message which we either fight until its death, adjust too or overcome!
I’m just lying here thinking about how my life has changed these past 8 months and the word ‘Adversity’ seems to fit each episode! Since 2018 you could say I was under one consultant (my hepatologist) and since the lockdown this has increased to 5 with ongoing tests and future appointments to attend.
Its amazing how this one smallish word ‘Adversity’ comes into so many of our lives possibly changing our pathway for a better life or worse!
Friends will show their true colours in times of adversity when an unfortunate event of circumstance hits. I think we all meet many adversities in our lives, but on the plus side reading the numerous messages on this forum makes you realise that we are facing ‘adversity’ together by supporting one an other!
Thank you all for being who you are.

Hi there, support makes a person feel humbled imo and one reflects on human nature and how kind true people can be - priceless; sharing adversity is powerful and it happens on here.
Certainly summed up my life from April 2019(liv faiure) until about Feb this year when through prayer and knowledge I finally had hope in my life again. No miracle cure, well not in this body, but a lot of trust and love in my Creator, the positive people in my life and treating my body(too late) the way I should have for thirty selfish, drink sodden years.
Yes I had adversity and it is a lonely, scarey dark place. Now? Just hope. Please look for the good.
I've just read your previous messages and I'm sorry your having a tough time of it all which hopefully in time will improve with perseverance, strength and of course determination not to let this horrid disease beat you into a plup!
If its possible think about all those other members on this forum who have been in a similar situation to yourself and most now have a better and improved life style after TP ! I'm not saying its going to be easy as you may have a long road to trek in relation to time scales, but I'm sure with the support of your friends on here you'll see that distant light ahead for a better more settled happier life style
Thank you. Appreciated. I have actually been thriving recently except for overwhelming tiredness, to be expected. Try not to think of time but just enjoy each day. Take care.
