Just to say I had to attend the hospital yesterday for an ultrasound as my Consultant thought there was perhaps a problem with Billie (my liver)! Of of course the video appointments are great, but they don’t quite get the full picture if you have an issue! Had to get the bus which was great, seats all marked out, and everyone wearing masks and I had my hand sanitizer with me!
Hospital were great too! One way system in most places, staff giving out masks and using gel and when I got to Radiology temperature checked and all the right questions asked and seating set 2metres apart. Appointment went well. So I will have no problem should I need to go again and radiologist said all looked fine👍
So treat from M&S for tea😊
It was more of a grand day out than mission impossible 🤣🤣🤣
Stay well and safe everyone 🙏

Its great to read that your experience in the hospital was so well organised.
It's good to hear you having such a positive all round experience, especially since going to hospital is causing many people a lot of anxiety. Glad you got good results. All the best 😊
Glad to hear your hospital still doing ultrasound scan. My consultant said I need one but couldn’t tell me how long it would be before I could have it due to the virus. Your experience gives me hope it won’t be too long
Glad to hear all is fine with Billy 😂, we have Gladys (my Stoma)🤣.
But more to the point I’m really glad your trip went well, we must all be very careful of course but we must try to get back to normality and M&S cream tea and meals are lovely 👍😃.
Thank you👍 I was so reassured by both the bus trip and the hospital, and yes we still have to be very careful but try to get back to some type of new normal. Hopefully we will get some clarification soon on what we can and can’t do!
Each day is a gift and I am very lucky as I live in Devon which is always a joy.
