It's been pretty quiet on here lately,so i thought that I'd tell you a little story about something that happened when I was younger. It's about myself a motorbike and a sidecar.
My Brother-in-Law had a big Norton Motorbike. I was only 14 years old ,my Sister was 12 years older than me.
They decided to buy a sidecar for the motorcycle and asked me if I'd like to go for a ride. I jumped at the idea..My Sister was a Pillion on the back of the motorcycle and I went in the sidecar. I must say that I really enjoyed the ride.
Well they were taking me home and as my Brother in law was slowing down to turn the corner to take me home. They turned the corner, but i went on going.
The b....y sidecar came away from the bike with me still in it.I can still remember it as if it was yesterday. It's a good job that he was slowing down, because I didn't go too far on my own. Me and the sidecar went into the culdesac, the sidecar hit the kerb of the pavement , Phew then we stopped, just as my Sister and her Husband was coming down the road on the Norton.
Good Timing. I went bonkers with the pair of them.I forgot about the skin that came off my elbows when I hit the pavement.I didn't really have a bad temper. But I lost it with the both of them. Everything turned out okay in the end. It didn't put me off motorbikes at all, in fact I loved being a Pillion passenger on the motorbikes. But not in a sidecar, not ever again.

Ouch!! I bet that hurt!! I think you and me are accident prone anyway!! I seem to be able to trip over anything , even my feet but they are a size 9 and I'm only 5'2!!! 🤣😂
It did hurt Lynne, but i was more afraid than anything else . I just wanted to get out of the ruddy thing. I used to like Motorbikes🏍🏎, my Brother used to have one and when I was little,he used to say to me "Cmon hop on the back ".
Hed give me a ride to the top of our Street and back again. Our Mum would be on the doorstep watching us. Just to make sure everything was alright.
But anyway ,when i got back home after my ride in the sidecar my Mum went
Dolally with the both of them. I was full of cuts and bruises on my arms and legs
They soon healed though.
But they were good memories.

Hi Lynne. No i had hardly any sleep last night and the night before. I haven't even got washed or dressed today. Im still in my Nighty and dressing gown. Crumpled up on the settee, asking myself when is all this pain gonna end.
Glad that you've got your date for your ultrasound. You'll have a good idea of what's going on then. 🤞

Hi Lynne, i haven't been to my G.P about it ,to be honest I'm in too much pain to go. If John rings her up and tells her that , she's only gonna say get an Ambulance. Then they'll take me to the Royal Gwent Hospital. I don't want to go there.

It flipping stupid,he can get hold of the Orthopaedic Consultants Secretary in the Gwent that im under. But trying to get hold of the Surgical Consultant's Secretary in Nevill Hall Hospital is terrible..I go to 6 different hospitals Lynne.
My name is on the Urgent waiting list, but she said that it's gonna be a long process because they are only taking a few Gastro Patients in at a time. She said that she couldn't give me a definite date. But it won't be long. When she was talking to John she told him that the Royal Gwent wasn't taking any Patients in at all at the moment.
OOOH now I'm really a bag of nerves. Im not worried about the operation. Im concerned about how it's gonna affect the Fibro.

I can relate to this although in my story we replace your sidecar with a horse that went by the name of Oliver. My sister was an instructor and I was sat on Oliver quite happy. Innocently my sister gave Oliver a little nudge and he just took off. I was found a mile away covered in bushes and twigs. Never again have I sat on a horse without remembering my escapades.
Thank you for that🤣🤣🤣 never been in a sidecar but in the 60’s we used to go to my aunt’s holiday hut! The people next door turned up on a motorbike and sidecar! Dad driving, mother on pillion and then kids in the sidecar, biggest at the back, one in front of him, then one in front of her and then the toddler in front! 4 kids in total🤣🤣🤣 none of them thought there was anything unusual about that🤣🤣🤣
Ooh,I wouldn't have done anything like that🤔 The sidecar's were not very big.
I would have been afraid to have all my Kids in there like that👶👶👶👶. Year's ago the Police were more lenient. They couldn't do anything like that today.

Years ago I had got a new bike, we finally took the stabilizers off. Anyway, goodness knows why I did this, thought I'd practice in front of the living room window, the path wasn't very big and I ended up in the rose bush, ouch, very sore !! I laughed about it after. When I look back now I think you silly so and so🤣😛
Hi Lynne. I used to ride a bike to work when I worked in the Printer's. A Lady that worked in the same place as me also had a bike. The only trouble was that we had to push it up a really steep winding Lane. No way could we ride our bikes up there, it was just too steep.
The Lane is called Bellevue Lane. It goes between Bellevue Park and on the opposite side of the Lane is the Royal Gwent Hospital. We had finished work the one day and started to make our way home. But as we were going down the Lane, my brakes on my bike failed.🚲 I couldn't stop. I tried to stop my bike with my feet🦶🦶, but it was no good I was going too fast. At the bottom of the Lane there was a roundabout and the main road🚦. 🚙 🚗 🚚 🚛 🚒 🛵.
OMG ,I prayed to God 🙏to keep me alive.
I went straight across the main road.
Cars were going both ways, i was frightened to death. But God 🙏was surely with me that day because I got home Safe and sound.
Later on the Lady called Jean that I was coming home with,came to our house to see if I was okay. My Mum called her in and I gave her a letter to give to our Boss called Mr James. It was a letter of my resignation. I didn't go back there again.
