Virtual Support Groups UK

The British Liver Trust team in Scotland have been trialling the delivery of virtual support groups via the online platform Zoom.

We are keen to roll out this support across the rest of the UK to support more patients and their families affected by liver disease. The online groups last about 45 minutes and are facilitated by one of the British Liver Trust support group facilitators.

We know that many people benefit from having social interaction with others in a similar position to them. Individuals can join a session to have a chat about how they are feeling and coping at this time.
