Hi,

I had a CT scan of the pancreas 2 years ago and am wondering if it would have also showed a problem with the liver such as bile ducts etc?

Many thanks,

Andy

I would think the CT scan was purely targeted at the pancreas if that was being investigated at the time. Liver might not have been investigated. If you have an issue that might be liver related I would think you'd need tests specifically aimed at the liver.

I’m not a medical professional but I wouldn’t have thought so.

I had 2 abdominal u/s during investigations for what was wrong with me, both showed everything to look completely normal, even though I have pbc.
