Hi Dolphin. Thanks. That's interesting. Does the letter say anything different to other published guidance or the texts?

Hi the only additional information it has is that the letter confirms self isolation for 12 weeks so there is no need for a doctors fit note. The letter should be shown to employers to claim SSP

Thanks again. I've been retired for a few years, so do not claim SSP.

I'm under Edinburgh, haven't had as much as a text or phone call. I appreciate they will be busy, but I'm still surprised their transplant recipients haven't been contacted. I don't particularly want to phone the coordinators, I'm sure they have better things to be doing than chitchat ☹️

My work asked me if he had a letter to enable sick pay, all I could say was no!

Hi, l seem to recall seeing something online that you can download and send to your employer. I am sure it was called an isolation note. It was a government site so this would sort out any employer. As if we don't have enough to deal with just now.

Hi all, l just joined to ask this very question. It seems that we have been forgotten about by NHS Scotland. It's all good to tell us to shield ourselves, and rightly so, but l feel we are being left to our own devices. If anyone gets any info about the supposed contact details for help would you be so kind as to post them on the forum

I had a liver transplant a year ago and it's all good. Thanks.

Letter arrived today

Still nothing for me, is there any helpful info in the letter or just general "don't go out" stuff?

Shielding, more strict than isolating.. you can google it

I know we are supposed to be shielding, I don't need to Google it. I meant info on registering for help with deliveries and pharmacy, like our first minister claimed we would get. Never mind, I'll just phone the transplant team on Monday.

Update : My letter arrived at 17:30 this evening, there's a telephone number to text and register for support 🙂

Hopefully I will be having toast again soon lol
