Palpatations anyone?

Hi, I have posted a couple of times and been very grateful for advice and comfort I have received. Today's question is about palpitations. For the past 3 days I have been getting palpatations lasting hours, without any exertion on my part. I sit at a desk at work, and would like to remain at work as long as possible, but I find my body seems to feel heavier every day, I even have to rest when drying my hair. I appreciate this may be something normal as I am also anaemic. Has anyone else noticed if they have anything similar?

Is it possible it could be the tablets, if you are taking some for anaemia? I’m sorry I am the other way, too much iron so I can’t relate. I just sometimes think that all tablets can give us various side effects. I hope you go get it checked out, 3 days is long enough I would think to wait it out.

Thank you. I phoned the dr was told no appointments available until I told them the problem now got appointment for Monday. I wasn’t sure if it was something to do with Liver issues. I still struggle with sitting at work looking healthy but falling apart under the skin 😀

Oh I’m sure you are not but you must feel shattered all the time. I hope your doctor can shed some light for you so you can get the palpitations under control.

I have had palpitations. I suggest you have a blood test to test for thyroid. At least you can rule it out. I am taking levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid

The GP should arrange this for you.

My palpitations were due to ibuprofen. I would take 2-4 a day because they were so effective. I miss them but not the palpitations.
