mum has unbearable itching does anyone know what she can do or take to ease this please

She should be able to be prescribed medication to help deal with the itching - things like Fexofenadine.

Keeping cool might help, menthol creams like Thermocool might cool the skin too.

Pruritis in end stage liver disease is awful, it's caused by the build up of bilirubin - same thing that causes jaundice.

She needs to try and avoid scratching as breaking the skin can lead to infections.

Prescribed with fexofenadine so we shall see how she gets on. Thanks again you are a god send
