All I can say on this open forum was that it was one or two extremly very rare times for me to even have a drink, but when I did the truly funny side appeared! The hiding under the food table happened a couple of times followed by 2 days in bed covering ! 👎
Sliding down my best friends huge farm house bannisters in a black lacey dress with stilettos etc was the breaking point at 7.30 pm I'd mixed those mini German bottles of beer with a couple of gins ! This was after I'd invited 11 familes from my street to my house for dinner which was all out the blue. ( everyone brought there Sunday lunches to mine ) lol .... Desert was at my best friends! It was 3 days before I fully recovered! I was 30 at the time and could say now that I've been almost T totally ever since! 🤣🤣
Lesson learnt the hard way but it was fun at the time !

The funny part was, 11 families brought there cooked Sunday Easter lunches to mine for a party, afterwards we trayed up all the dirty dishes with me in my party dress and walked them up the street to the 12th friends house to wash them up🤣🤣🤣
Afterwards all 12 families ended up at my best friends farm house as I'd offered to cook banana fritters with ice cream for everyone whilst drinking more German Beers! 👎👎👎Hence sliding down the bannister at 7.30pm followed by being carried home to bed by hubby and his best friend!
Surely I'm not the only one with these type of fond memories????
The demon drink is no longer , but I still know how to party 😁💃

Definitely no stairs!! I think I've already said but at my son's the other week, going upstairs for the loo in the middle of the night!! Tripped over the last stair, over the maiden and sprawled across the landing!! They didn't get me but I frightened Dave to death. Forgot to out the light in as well 😂 told them the next morning, they just shook their heads and rolled their eyes😂. I said it's brain fog but Ian said no , you've always been like that, Mum. I had to hold my hands up then as this is very true!! Good job I can laugh at myself 😂. Love and hugs to you all Lynne xxxx
