Hi guys I have brain fog problems today, any ideas about questions to ask consultant tomorrow please. Based on my recent posts I am sure that there are so many.

Thanks in advance xx Allie

Good afternoon Alley27,

I am sure our lovely froum members will be along to offer suggestions.

Can I suggest you read through your own previous posts by clicking on your own username and write down your questions from there? It may jog your memory a bit?

It is always useful to write your questions down for an appointment , and the answers too !

Are you able to take someone with you tomorrow ? That may also help you to remember things.

In the pinned post section there are also links to patient guides which may also help to trigger questions.

Best wishes ,

Trust9

Hi

You could ask him what would help your pain?

Can't remember but have had a CT or MRI, if not ask him for one if those?

Is your husband coming with you? If he is , ask your consultant to explain everything to him and why you have no energy, he might actually listen!!

I'm sure someone else will be along to help you. Good luck for tomorrow. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

The Partner is Liam, don't mention hubby, cause he's not, will probably be sitting on the fence. Would only fall on deaf ears if I recall or did I see that somewhere else? 🤔😜

The Agony Aunt referal. Just fell into Agony Uncle mode for a moment.

Hi again Alley

Yes - ask if you can have a CT or MRI scan like Lynne says. I had numerous US scans with little real results to say what was causing my “additional “ issuettes, but a CT scan found a Portal Vein Thrombosis straight away. All those wasted months I had faffing around with those US Scans - aaagh.

Hope your appointment goes well. Re Trust9’s reply - so true, take someone with you and have everything written down beforehand and write everything down that is said during the appointment- absolutely essential!

Good luck.

Miles

Thank you guys so much x

Hi Alley

Your message only popped up on my page today so apologies for not replying.

Hope all went well yesterday with your consultant and I'm guessing you took the advice given by my friends and all went well!

Love

Trish x
