Hi eekk, I had a dear friend Toby, who had terminal cancer 3 years ago, and refused Radio or Chemotherapy, and with his wife who was a nurse, did most of the things on his bucket list. I know he went to see his Sister in Cape Town, South Africa, and had quite a few holidays in Italy and France, until he became unwell, and then stayed at home with his wife looking after him until the inevitable happened. I do know he had a great time until the lung cancer took hold of him. I'm not sure of his travel insurance or plans if he got worse whilst away. I think he relied on himself and his wife to know when it was time to stop, but at least he enjoyed his last months, rather than being a slave to the treatment offered.
Hope this helps,
David
Hi eekk,
We had friends in a similar position, however, like davianne, his wife was a nurse with access to his meds. They did some traveling to see family & friends out of state [we're in the US].
They mostly just enjoyed their home on the lake and the company of family & friends who visited.
