My hernia operation isn’t just a small thing. It’s a major operation. Talking about epidurals. Bits and bobs hanging out of my stomach. Big big scar . Long long operation. Only 5 % chance of carking it 😂
I didn’t see my honey doctor 😞 but he brushed passed me in the corridor. That’s when I fainted and got put on life support and got a helicopter to the big hospital 😂
Joke Doris 😂
But the doctor lady said she wished all her patients were like me. I told her everything in doctor speak and she asked me if I had medical training 😂 That bits true.
So I’m gonna wake up in ICU with tubes out of my Willy and stomach and an epidural thingy in my back etc etc.
I’m not allowed to shave my map of Tasmania or my stomach. They have to do that as they won’t operate if there is even a scratch on my belly.
I will be ok with Tongkis puppies when I get home. My mother will be a different story 😂
I’m poo pooing it at the moment but hey ho, life goes on innit!
Love and smoochie kisses,
Me.

You’ll be alright Bob. Just smile at all the surgeons beforehand. Oh maybe not, they might get a bit trembly with excitement- wash my mouth out ☹️. But you can do it I’m sure 👍
Hi Brett. You will just have a nice sleep and they will be doing all the work. You will wake up feeling half the man you were ( meant in the nicest possible way ) All the best mate. Alf
I had a very large incisional hernia, repaired in March. I have mesh fitted on the entire right hand side of my stomach. The doctors spoke about possibly having an epidural but luckily I didn't have to have one in the end.
To this day I still feel pretty tender but it's not really painful. I guess I can just feel the mesh, and a lot of nerve endings where my stomach was cut again. This is all quite normal.
My body initially rejected the liver in the immediate weeks after my transplant but my blood readings have improved month after month and therefore my liver. It seems to be doing fine. My kidneys have always been a bit more of an issue as they failed when my liver failed and I was on dialysis for 6 weeks. They started working again but slowly, and although they are improving they are nowhere near what they were post transplant. I had my transplant on the 15th August 2017 so it's just over 2 years. This week I've felt probably better than I've done in 2 years. We are all different and I've always thought that 50% of liver patients are doing a lot better than me and the other 50% are probably doing a lot worse.
I hope this answers your question but if you have more, I'm very much an open book about what happened to me.
