Hi Snorker, I'm with you on the cold numb feet (peripheral neuropathy) . I take omeprazol for my acid reflux/ heartburn, and it does seem to prevent it. Acid in your esophagus will aggravate varices if you have them. Peptac Liquid is also good for settling heartburn.I hope this helps,

David

Hi there . It just shows you how we all have varying symptoms and it’s just not standard to get the same ones.as I never had swollen ankles or anything else you describe however I did suffer with heartburn and as with David was prescribed omeprazol for it.paul

Make sure they know absolutely everything that is wrong. It’s easy to just skip things in the heat of the moment. I suppose I’m saying things you already do - like writing down everything before you are phoned and ensuring you tick off everything especially as they will try to get to the end of the discussion quickly - I bet!!
