You may remember my previous posts. Red up of waiting for answers I did an online blood test. My gift is 287! I have not touched alcohol in nearly a year. I still have not had any support or referral to specialist. I still show no symptoms. I really do not know what to do. Any advice THIS is making me ill!

Newbie update and now very scared.
Have you had a discussion with your GP as suggested after your last post. The figure of 287 means nothing to us unless it is for a specific liver enzyme. What was the online blood test you've done?
Thanks for quick reply. Sorry automated text. G G T 287 and A L R 55.9. All I drink is copious amounts of water and flavoured water with an occasional coffee (2+ litres a day).
Hi there. I’m sure if your not showing and symptoms of having liver disease that you’ll be fine.although go your GP’s for reassurance.i myself had years of symptoms prior to becoming decompensated.inparticular body cramp and swollen hands yet did nothing except bury my head in sand.if I’d had the sense to question these symptoms with my GP I may of found out the problem and reversed the cirrhosis that ultimately led to a liver transplant at 49.by the sounds of thing and I’m not saying you shouldn’t be concerned but it sounds like you’ve more breathing space than most who come on here.yet I’ll stress I’m no doctor as no doubt the administration will confirm.i wish you well.paul
Thanks Paul. In a way I wish I had one solitary symptom to say 'maybe they're right'. I feel good and I think I look good but mentally I am a mess. I've done everything that has been asked. Getting answers and help is taking so long but an answer like yours keeps my pucker up that's what's so good about this forum. Thanks again.
Your welcome.just keep doing what your doing as in staying away from alcohol eat healthy.you know the drill a low salt diet low fat and you be fine.and whatever damage if any can be reversed.trust me when I say I know what worrying Is.and what a decompensated liver does to your mental health and I would of quite happily of swapped with you.And I’m confident you’ll be ok.paul
Welcome back to the forum,
We hope that you have resolved the difficulty you were having with incorrect information in your medical notes.
The British Liver Trust would only advocate obtaining a liver function blood test via the GP service or NHS . This way the blood test can be assured to be performed under clinical conditions and reported appropriately in an NHS lab then sent to the GP/specialist for clinical consideration.
We ask that followers do not post test results and personal information with a request for medical advice.
This forum is here to share experiences and provide support to each other and we would advise against posting any test results or asking for specific medical advice. This is not a medical forum and should not be used to try and make diagnoses or replace advice from your own medical practitioners who have a much wider view of your health and test results.
You are clearly distressed and in need of support. You might consider calling the British Liver Trust helpline. You can then talk with a well qualified and experienced registered nurse. The helpline is for anyone affected by a liver condition. Call 0800 652 7330 between 10am and 2.45pm Monday to Friday (not bank holidays) or email helpline@britishlivertrust.org.uk
(emails can be sent at any time and are answered during helpline hours). britishlivertrust.org.uk/fi...
Many thanks for your ongoing support and understanding.
Best wishes

Sorry I wasn't asking for Mrs advice per second just hoping someone had similar experience to share. Took your advice and went through PALS but that's still ongoing. Very slow.
Glad you are getting the notes sorted. Don't forget, the helpline is there should you need reassurance or support.
Take care,
