Tacrolimus level: Thanks for replying... - British Liver Trust
Tacrolimus level
May I ask please what are you presently taking?
Yes no worries 50 milligrams of aza and 4 miligrams of tac
I just commented on your other post.. Your local hospital won't know much about tac levels it's a transplant and specialist teams expertise..
I don't think you need to be mithering your transplant hospital about it, if they are worried about it they will contact you and adjust your meds
Yup. It’s the specialist who will know. I am in the lucky situation that my care was switched from the transplant centre, 30 mins away, to my local hosp at 5 mins. This was only because my new specialist had worked in tp centre under the Big Prof and now has set up a new hépatology dept literally just down the road. If I needed to be hospitalised it would depend on the level of care needed. An op would be at the tp centre for example.
